Drinking never includes one drink, going out for a drink never ends like that. It usually includes many drinks, shots of Jager and Tequila, and Yoshi sleeping in his car until 5am. No idea where things went downhill last night, but they did and quick. As for me, a tasty bag of Dorito’s and one last Rum and Coke to end the night, and I was good.
Flying at 35k on the Internet is very cool
Here is a short video I shot about the excitement I feel on a plane.
Steakhouse
I don’t like Steakhouses. I love steak, don’t get me wrong. Its delicious, but the premium paid at a steakhouse is just absurd. You pay 60 dollars for a steak that is so good you rave to your friends about it for day, but I guarantee if that same steak was 12 dollars you wouldn’t say anything. You know what they do, they get a steak, hopefully not a prepackaged one, but who knows, some salt, some pepper, and a broiler. THATS IT. You can do it at home and if you know a good butcher you can get a better quality steak. For me going out to dinner is getting something I can’t easily make at home. I want sauces, I want food I don’t even begin to understand how to make. No steakhouse has a chef creating anything, they have a bunch of kids cooking. You pay a premium for that, and not a small one at that.

Running and my Fatness
I am really tired of being fat. In High School I was young and taut, now I am young an…well I am not really young. This needs to change, I am tired of this huge gut. I have been eating better, and been running, but really that is just the start.
Starting on Sunday I began to run, and actually train for a marathon. Getting my diet under control is a struggle, but I am finding a happy medium. My goal is and has been for a while to run the Walt Disney World Full Marathon in January 2010. My secret goal is to finish in under 4 hours 30 minutes, but don’t tell anyone that. So every Sunday I will be posting how I did for training that week, as I don’t think anyone wants to read my daily updates. So if you are interested check back every so often maybe it will be interesting. I was going to post a before picture of myself, but I fear that would drive away traffic.
My Work
This is what I come into every morning at my work, and no I don’t work at a farm.

Top 10 Video Games of all time
It pained me very much to make this list. There were games left out that I really love, but in the end I had to be honest with me and decide what games resonate in my head still today. These games may not have the flashiest graphics and it may be short on FPS, but this is my list and if you don’t like it, SUCK IT.
1. Legend of Zelda – This game may have not been the most technologically advanced game, or the prettiest on the list. But this is the game that made me a gamer. Spending hours with my cousin solving the puzzles and how to defeat enemies. This was long before the Internet and sites like GamesFAQ.com. This was pure, you, your system, and the game cartridge. Every puzzle had to be solved by you, every time you had to figure out where to go next was you. It was like an adventure, no one told me gaming could be like this. No one told me that a game could take you away like an adventure, but this game was it. You cheered for Link, you wanted to save Zelda desperately. You got so frustrated that you wanted to smash things, and then the final scene after you defeat Ganon, you feel accomplished. I don’t believe anyone should call themselves a gamer until you have played through this game. Miyamoto may be better known for Mario, but Link was his ultimate creation.
2. Daggerfall – As far as RPG’s go (and actually most games) this was the most amazing game ever. People say Grand Theft Auto was an open ended game. This was open ended, you could literally play for weeks and ignore the main story line forever. You could find new dungeons that still haven’t been found to this day. You could walk for hours and never see anything. In short this was what I always hoped all RPGs are and can be. The graphics weren’t perfect, but at this time you forgave that. Although you could ignore the main story line, you didn’t because it was just that good. You wanted to know what happened next and wanted to get that new sword. Daggerfall would also continue a great RPG tradition, that continues even today with Oblivion. Although technically Oblivion is a better game, Daggerfall still brings more joy as a game.
3. Super Mario Brothers 3 – There isn’t much to say, Super Mario Brothers helped save gaming, and helped make me the gamer I was today. So why isn’t it on the list? It’s because Super Mario Brothers 3 is just that much better. I remember wondering why all my Nintendo games didn’t look like this, why they weren’t as fun as 3. Then I realized this is one of the greatest games I will ever play.
4. Doom – What FPS was I going to put on the list, would it be Quake, Unreal Tournament, or Doom. I realized I have never worked more at a game than I did with Doom. I would carry my computer and monitor to a friends house just to play “online”. I spent countless hours building levels and troubleshooting why we couldn’t connect online. This game to me ushered the online and FPS genres into video games, and I don’t think anyone has looked back.
5. World of Warcraft – Addiction = World of Warcraft. There has never been a game more addicting than World of Warcraft. Ever since first playing this game, I realized what an MMO was suppose to be. You play and you are obsessed, I logged more time in this game than any other. Story and Lore are what Blizzard does best, and this game is no exception. You want to learn more about the universe you are fighting in, all the while playing with friends. It really doesn’t get much better.
6. Kingdom Hearts – Square (Actually Final Fantasy) and Disney together for a game, this couldn’t possibly be good a game. Jesus was I wrong. I tried to play this once and it didn’t grab me, which was sort of surprising since I eventually became obsessed with it. An action RPG, that’s right up my alley. So I gave it another chance, this time buying it and not borrowing it so I would be forced to play it. I have to tell you, I was hooked after getting off the island. The blend of an RPG with the Disney universe, it just made perfect sense. The combat was awesome, the story was great, and everything about this game was just so good.
7. Final Fantasy X – This RPG made me realize Square was a big deal. I played Final Fantasy VII but this was different. This was engaging, you looked forward to the cut scenes, you looked forward to the story advancing. This was an RPG in the purest sense, and I loved every minute of it. This game also was the first that I strived to complete 100%.
8. Metal Gear Solid 4 – Hideo Kojima’s swan song. This wasn’t a game it was an experience, it was a movie, but better. People complained about the cut scenes length before the game came out, but if they are complaining now they just don’t get it. I remember toward the end of the game, I stopped playing, why, I didn’t want it to end. I have never been so upset to see a game end.
9. Little Big Planet – This game did something that not many games do. It gave me a unique experience, yes the game is a platformer, but really the level design, and music made this game so much more. I remember still picking it up and wondering what to expect through all the hype, and I was still blown away. The thing that brings this game to the next level is the level design and Downloadable Content, whole levels designed by strangers, and some of these levels are just that amazing.
10. Rock Band – Really is there any reason this shouldn’t be on anyone’s top 10 list. This is the perfect party game, unload the instruments at a party and everyone’s attention turns to this. Anyone can live out their dreams, I mean seriously who didn’t want to be a rock star. I think you don’t realize how amazing this game is until you grab the microphone and start to sing. It truly takes you away from the living room or basement you are in, and puts you on stage.
